The company TASHEV was founded in 1995 by Georgi Tashev. The characteristics of the products are based on his experience and his personal criteria for the equipment he needs for his outdoor activities: alpinism, speleology, speed climbs, etc. These characteristics are also their greatest merits: durability and reliability, function and comfort. That's why all these years and until now, the TASHEV brand is known for its impeccable quality and long life of backpacks and all other products.

TASHEV was founded and continues to exist as a 100% family-owned company, which is run by its founders and owners - the Tashev family, and is based in the town of Pleven, Bulgaria, where the production facility and company shop are located.
A separate warehouse is organized for the imported products.
Since 2019, a large company store of the brand opened in the town of Sofia, Bulgaria at Geo Milev, SkyCity Mall, where the entire assortment is presented, in a variety of sizes and colors.
The team consists of long-time associates and friends of Tashev who know the products, history and concept of the brand well.

PRODUCTION

Our own production facilities
During these 30 years of growth and improvement, the company, its managers and the whole team have been gaining experience and with growing professionalism building a modern production here in Bulgaria.
The in-house production facilities make it possible to control the production process from start to finish and, when necessary, to make quick decisions as well as to implement the measures taken immediately. The building of our own factory, specially organized for the production of the TASHEV collection, guarantees the high level of the products and the impeccable reputation of the brand.

Environmentally oriented production - without waste:
Everything we do is oriented towards ecology and sustainability. We use durable materials. The production process is organised so that there is minimal waste. Technologically, we create our products so that they last a long time and do not require replacement. We produce as many as needed. There is no overproduction that needs to be realized with promotions and campaigns.

Ethical manufacturing - an honest employer providing a peaceful and healthy working environment. There is no exploitation of human labour, but the contrary: there is a respectful and friendly atmosphere of teamwork. Therefore, there is no turnover and there are not a few employees with more than 20 years of experience in the company and those who see their future in the company. From the very beginning, the focus of the TASHEV backpacks has been on durability, reliability and longevity. Over the years, this focus has not shifted despite worldwide globalization and mass production. Tashev has maintained its identity and kept both its headquarters and production in one place, unlike most manufacturing companies that outsource the production of their products.
Thus, we at Tashev are in direct and constant contact at all levels and, above all, in direct contact with our customers. Thus, design, construction, vision and overall style, built on the concept of strength and reliability of the models, are constantly evolving, guided by the opinions, feedback and recommendations of customers, as well as by observations on their preferences and what they ask for.

Around the world, true hikers and outdoor adventurers are keen on their packs being durable, reliable and long-lasting first and foremost.

Most manufacturing companies reduce their material and labor costs to reach target prices set by retail customers. However, lower material and labour costs mean lower product quality. We are different. We reduce costs in a different way: there is no added cost for advertising and mark-ups for placement and sales representatives.
By owning our own factory and having no middlemen, we can create products without compromising quality. Thus, the majority of the price of each Tashev backpack is its value. This is why the TASHEV brand manages to create such good products at prices close to those of mainstream alternatives.

Tashev does not rely on advertising, promotions and campaigns. There are no sales targets set and never have been. We produce as much as we need. No one convinces anyone to buy, the products themselves do. Whoever chose to own a Tashev backpack did so because they wanted it for its value. It's a simple concept that works by itself: if a product is really good, it sells itself.
