The bottom fixation is with a velcro strap around the backpack's strap. The velcro strap is extended so that it fits the widest backpack's straps.
If you will use the pocket for a smaller backpack the extra length can be cut off.
Fix Pro is padded and also offers one zip mesh pocket in front and two internal open pockets - one for the ID card, another for some cash.
This model Fix Pro offers oprtion for fixing on your belt - a strap loop on the back side - when you get to your destination and the backpack is not on your back anymore, you can remove the Fix XL from the shoulder strap and fix it to your belt, so it can be with you all the time.
